Do you know what GOTS stands for?

GOTS, or Global Organic Textile Standard, is the most stringent international organic textile certification. It ensures the ecological purity of the production and the final product, thus protecting the environment, the health of workers and, last but not least, the users of the biotextile. GOTS also includes detailed requirements for safe and humane working conditions.

GOTS certified fabric is made from natural organic fibres sourced from certified organic farming. The entire subsequent complex and multi-stage processing into the finished fabric is carried out according to very strict GOTS standards.

The standard GOTS requirement is that at least 95% of the fibres in the garment are organic and that the organic fibres must be separated from the conventional fibres during the production process. This means that whenever you buy GOTS certified textiles, you can be sure that the products are free from harmful chemicals or other substances, are high quality organic textiles and that everyone involved in their production has taken social and environmental responsibility.
